The role of building construction supervisors is a challenging but difficult one. The responsibility for the health and safety of the workers is primary vested on his shoulder. Supervisors have an affirmative responsibility to set up safety program. The key principles include: personal protection equipment, the work environment, proper equipment maintenance, safety education or training, inspections, investigations and analysis.
This course would be appropriate for individuals with job titles such as: Construction Site Supervisors & Foreman, Clerk of works and Site Engineers; or Engineering graduates or individuals with diploma qualifications and above who wish to work in the construction industry .
By the end of the course, participants should be competently trained as a Safety Supervisor. Equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure all potential dangerous/hazardous events are eliminated and prevented. Making the workplace a safe environment to work at.

Certificate of Successful Completion will be issued to the participants with more than 75% attendance and has successfully completed the course and passed the examinations.
At least 18 years of age
Singaporeans, Permanent Residents or Holders of valid employment pass / work permit
Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 4 under Employability Skills System (ESS) or equivalent
Must be physically and mentally fit for the training with no handicap

This course is a mandatory training course for individuals who are assigned to undertake the role of a supervisor in the construction industry.
Skills Development Fund (SDF) & Skills Redevelopment Program (SRP)
For eligibility, trainees must be company sponsored and are either Citizens or PR of Singapore.
