The lifting supervisor plays a critical role in the entire lifting operation. He has to plan and develop the safe lifting operation procesures for all lifting activities. He oversees the rigger, the overhead crane operator's job scopes and at the same time ensure the safety of all employees. It is thus important for lifting supervisors to be equipped with the necessary know-how and safety knowledge to supervise every lifting operations in their workplace.

This course aims to train the participants to familiarize with their roles and responsibilities as a Lifting Supervisor, the legal requirements of lifting operations, and the preventive measures taken to ensure all lifting operations are carried out properly and safely.

Basic Slinging and Rigging Methods (Involves Practical Lessons)

Certificate of Achievement will be issued to the participants with more than 80% attendance and are able to complete the revision assessment at the end of the course.
At least 18 years of age
Singaporeans, Permanent Residents or Holders of valid employment pass / work permit
Able to read and understand simple English
Must be physically and mentally fit for the training with no handicap
Those 60 years and above must produce a medical certificate of physical fitness
For eligibility, trainees must be company sponsored and are either Citizens or PR of Singapore.
