Workers in the Oil/Petrochemical Industries have to work closely with highly flammable and dangerous substances everyday. A small fire that occurs in the workplace may turn quickly into a disaster. A disaster in an Oil/Petrochemical Industry cost lives, millions of dollars lost in medical fees and damages, and poisonous gases are released into the atmosphere. The damage is not only limited to site, but the area surrounding it as well.
The OPSOC is a mandatory WSH training course for all workers working in the oil and petrolchemical industry. They are required to go through the OPSOC before they start work at the worksite.
At the end of this course, the participants should be able to recognize the safety hazards in oil and petrolchemical plant, know the preventive measures to be adopted, and the importance of observing safety signs and safe work procedures.

In addition to the scheduled course dates, organisation which nominate 10 or more
participants, can request special classes/weekend classes to suit their working schedule.
