Introduction
Scaffold have been around for thousands of years, and there are myriad types and uses. A thorough understanding of all aspects of constructing, using, and dismantling a scaffold is vital to protecting workers. Each has potential hazards that employers and workers need to be aware of so that they can take the proper measures to protect against or prevent accidents and injuries.


For Whom
Holder of Certificate of Successful Completion (CSC) in Metal Scaffold Erection Course who are involved in the supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection.


Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants should be competently trained as a Metal Scaffold Erection Supervisor. Equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure all potential dangerous/hazardous events are eliminated and prevented. Able to lead the erectors to erect scaffold projects in safe manners. Making the workplace a safe environment to work at.

Certification
Certificate of Successful Completion will be issued to the participants with more than 75% attendance and has successfully completed the course and passed the examinations.


Entry Requirements
At least 18 years of age
Singaporeans, Permanent Residents or Holders of valid employment pass / work permit
Able to read and understand simple English
Must be physically and mentally fit for the training with no handicap
Must possess a Certificate of Successful Completion (CSC) in Metal Scaffold Erection Course*

Note :
Those 60 years and above must produce a medical certificate of physical fitness
*Please attach a copy of the Metal Scaffold Erection certificate at time of application

Compulsory Course:
This is the compulsory training course for the appointed Metal Scaffold Supervisor to work in the Singapore work site.


Skills Development Fund (SDF) & Skills Redevelopment Program (SRP)
For eligibility, trainees must be company sponsored and are either Citizens or PR of Singapore. They are to submit the application directly to SDF/SRP. Please visit www.skillsconnect.gov.sg. The application will be subjected to SDF/SRP's requirements and consideration.
